Christmas Party

Well last week we had Britts work Christmas Party up at the Lion House at temple square. When he got the invitation we were wry impressed because none of the people Britt have worked for have ever done a party that impressive or that nice. Sprinkler world did it one year and we got like a 2 day notice so we were very impressed and excited to go.

This year I have been helping my Grandma get everyone's gifts. I had to stop at Scheels and get some stuff. Well we went in and I got everything I need and we went to leave and we didn't have the keys to my car. Britt didn't have his keys because he put them in the console of the car. We searched the store. Britt looked I'm the car with a flash light and he couldn't see them. Well I left my purse in the car so I figured the keys were in the purse. Well Britt called Sandy police do not unlock cars unless there is a child in it or a pet. So we had to call a locksmith, which if you know me you know my uncle and grandpa are locksmiths so I was mad I had to pay for one. Well he told us he was 10 minutes away, which was a lie. He was at least 40 minutes away. It would have been faster to call my grandpa. Well he unlocked the car but didn't take credit cards so we had to scrounge cash together. So between Britt, Tyson, and I we had exactly $40. It was a nightmare! We were late for the party by this point so Britt flew the whole way there. Well there were no seats when we got there so we ended up sitting at the table with clients of the company and it was the most awkward meal of my life!

All In all it was an awful night but we didn't get to go out without Beckham and we got to get Christmas shopping done even if it did cost us more then expected! After dinner we got to see the lights and they were stunning. I want to take Beckham up to see them.

Thanksgiving

This year we had a really good thanksgiving weekend. The Sunday before we had dinner at my Grandma Colleens since everyone was going to other families. It was good and Beckham loved being with my cousins who are a little bit closer to his age.

For Thanksgiving my mom decided to have it instead of my Grandma Louise's. Mt mom did an amazing job. The table was perfect and she had a perfect room for it. She has a beautiful dinning room and she finally got to use it. We bought all new dishes and decorations to make it so cute. It started out just being us, my grandparents, and Dell but ended up being everyone and it was perfect. I have not had Thanksgiving with my cousin Kassie in probably 10 years. Dinner was fabulous and everything was perfect. We had a total of 21 people there so it was a little crowded but fun. I did my annual Scentsy booth so I was a little crazy trying to get things done for my booth but it was a good weekend.

Friday I worked the show and Britt went four wheeling with my dad and Lyndsey. Beckham got to go with my mom and cut down a real Christmas tree for the dining room. I wish I had pictures but my mom didn't take any. That night Britt took Beckham to the light parade.

Saturday I worked the show, again. It turned out to be the best year I've done so far. Britt worked on my parents house and some Christmas projects.

It was such a great weekends. I just love my little family. Every year gets better and better.

All about Britt!

I wanted to dedicate this post to my amazing husband. Ever since I met him he has shown and taught me more things then I can even count. He has shown me unconditional love and support. He has always put my needs before his own. He is the most unselfish man I've ever met. He is always so willing to help anyone and everyone. He is my rock. I would be completely lost without him. He has been miserable has his job for the last 6 months but never quit or walked out because he knew he had to take care of Beckham and I. He stuck it out and finally got a new job that he is so excited about. I can't wait for the new adventure he is embarking on next week. I love Britt so much and am so proud of him. He is such a hard worker and always gives everything 100% and then some. Britt is the most amazing father. Beckham looks up to him so much and wants to be just like his dad. He is always mimicking Britt. I am the luckiest girl on this planet. I look at all the people we have in our lives and Britt is by far the best person I have. I love you Britt! Thank you for putting up with my crazy life, crazy family, demands, opinions, and fits. Your amazing.

Snow fun!

It finally snowed this weekend and Beckham loved it! Last year he got all the stuff to play in the snow but never got to really use it since it never snowed. We had to go into panic mode and hurry and rebuy snow clothes. Luck for me I have an AWESOME brother-in-law, Tysee! He stopped on his way home and grabbed Beck a new coat! We are hoping it will snow a lot more so Beck can continue to play in the snow and build a snowman next time. Because Briit wouldn't help him this time!

Halloween

This year I had the hardest time figuring out what to have him be. I couldn't decide between a hobo, woody, batman, or baseball player. Well I finally decided on woody since he loves Toy Story. He was the cutest woody ever! Halloween is definitely a lot more fun now that I have Beckham! This year he was so excited to be Woody. He wanted his costume on at 10 and didn't take it off until 10 last night. He was so cute. He would take his hat off and yell yee haw! It was darling.

Love my little man. I was thinking about all his cute costumes the last 3 years and have to post his other costumes.

He was by far the cutest monkey ever! He did so well in the costume too.

My Jack Sparrow was darling! This is one of my favorite costumes ever!

Pumpkin land

Last week before Beckham got sick we took him to pumpkin land with my mom, Gma Louise, and Jord. Beckham loved it! It is so much fun to carry on traditions from when I was little onto Beckham. Hopefully he will have as many fun memories as I do.
