Big Boy Bed/Baby

When we first put Beckham in his toodler bed he did so good. After a few months his Scentsy burnt out and the dark started scaring him so he started getting in our bed in the middle of the night. Well we have tried everything to get him back to sleeping in his bed. We got him a TV for Christmas and that only helped a few nights. We tried falling asleep with us then putting him in his bed and that has lasted until now but he always ends up in our bed before morning. It didn't help matters being out of town two weeks in February and having to stay at my moms with Jord where we weren't having a very good schedule. Then last night he fell asleep with me and I asked Britt to put him in his bed and he instantly yelled "NO MOM!". That was my breaking point. Last night I had a dream (weird I know) that if I made him a sticker chart it might help him get excited to sleep in his big boy bed. Tonight is our first night. Wish us luck.






On a side note I got to watch my BFF's little boy for the first time today for a few hours. He is an absolute doll. I just love little Stetzyn oh and his momm, Kayla Sue. Tending baby Stetzyn definitely didn't help with wanting a baby. I know shocker right. I have decided I want another baby. I keep teasing Britt about wanting it now but in all reality I want it in another year or so before we start trying.

Tending Rowan

Yesterday I got to watch Rowan for Casey. Rowan is One of Beckhams only cousins his age. They are so cute together and play so good together. I did learn something from tending 2 two year olds mad that is that I do not want another child until Beckham can talk and understand perfect. They were such a handful.

Michigan

Last week we went to Michigan to see Marsha's dad. His health isn't to great so we all went out to see him. I had never been to Michigan so it was fun to go somewhere new. I absolutely loved seeing where Marsha grew up and where all the "Michigan stories" Britt tells me happened. It was the first time Marsha got to see her moms grave. We drove out there on a Friday. We left at 6 in the morning. We didn't get as far as we would have liked because we had to drop Elma off at Ilene's and we had to pick Tyson up. Then when we got to Wyoming the roads were not so great. We made it to Kearny Nebraska that night and got up early Saturday and drove the rest of the way. We went straight to see Grandpa Stevens. We spent 4 days there. I got to see all the homes that Marsha's parents lived in and where Marsha grew up. We also got to see where Marsha's mom is buried. We went to the mall and let Beckham ride the carousel. All of the old ladies in the rest home absolutely LOVED Beckham. They all wanted to talk and play with him. It was darling. We left Thursday morning super early at 2 in the morning Utah time. We drove clear to Sidney Nebraska. That is a total of 1000 miles in one day. Beckham was amazing. He was so good the entire way there and back. I could not believe. I have one amazing little boy. He is so easy going. The only time he would want to get out of the car was to eat. He was so good. It was a fun trip. Im glad we were able to go and let Beckham meet papa Stevens.

Grandma Elma is 89!

Britts grandma Elma turned 89 recently. We all went to dinner at Brick Oven. It was a lot of fun to see Britts cousins not everyone could make it but the ones that did made it that more special for Grandma Elma. She is such an amazing example to all of her grandchildren. She's just awesome. We are so lucky to have such an awesome relationship with her. Beckham loves his grandma Elma. She is so sweet with him and you can tell she just loves my Beckham and I am so thankful for that. Britt loves his Grandma so much. He is so sweet with her and I am so thankful I have married a man that has that much love and respect for his grandma. Recently Britt has been able to spend some time with Elma taking her with him to Illenes a couple days a week and I am so happy he gets to spend time with her cause I know how much my grandmas mean to me. We love you Grandma Elma and I can wait until next year when I can throw you the biggest 90th birthday ever!

St. George

Last week we were able to go to St. George with my family to watch Lyndsey play ball. It's the first time I was able to watch Lynds play college ball. It was a lot of fun. Beckham got his first sunburn of the year. He was so cute with his little red nose. We headed down Tuesday night and Britt and J'son came down Thursday night. It was a lot of fun to get to know J'son and Beckham absolutely loves J'son.
