Day by Day!

I am going to try and take a picture of Beckham everyday for the first year of his life. I can already see changes from when he was born.

Beckham the first day he was born and the first time he was fed.

Day 2 of Beckhams little life.

Day 3. All wrapped up in his new silky Grandma Jill gave him.

Day 4. All ready to come home.

Day 5. He is loving being home and we are loving him here.

Beckham is finally here.

Well Beckham is here and is absolutely perfect. Wednesday we went in to get induced and it was the longest day of my life. At about 6 p.m. the doctor came in and decided to do a c-section because I wouldnt dilate past a 7 and Beckham was struggling. It was probably the scariest thing I have had to go threw. Britt and I were both a mess going into the c-section. It wasnt as bad as I imagined. When they took me back to my room I passed my mom and Marsha and they were like little girls in a doll store telling me how cute he was and how perfect he was. After a little bit of waiting they took me down to the 4th floor and I got to see my little boy. It was the most amazing feeling in the world when they handed him to me. I ended up staying in the hospital til saturday and then they let me come home. I am loving every minute of it. He is so perfect and he only gets up once in the night so far. Britt is an amazing dad. He just loves to help and hold Beckham. Beckham has no idea how many people love him. We have had lots of visitors and have loved every minute of it. So far this experience has been the very best of my life and I would never change it.

Still no baby!

Today is my due date and there is still no baby, ha. Well yesterday we went to the doctors and they decided they would start me on Wednesday (tomorrow) since I had kind of high blood pressure instead of waiting a week like they had originally told me. Thank goodness!! So tomorrow is the big day and hopefully Beckham will be here tomorrow by this time. He probably wont be but hey I can wish. He has been stubborn this far I'm sure its not going to stop now. This week has been a kind of fun and crazy week for us. Lyndsey in the newspaper yesterday, and the baby coming. We couldnt ask for anything more.

Lyndsey Lou!

My little sister is on the front page of the Daily Herald. I am so very proud to call her my sister. She is awesome and I absolutely love her. She was interviewed this past week by the Daily Herald because she trains year round for her softball season. They took some awesome pictures and interviewed my parents. We were told that it would be in todays paper and since we dont get the paper Britt went first thing this morning to the Sags and bought 2. Sheldon asked him why he needed 2 and he told him Lyndsey was in it today and then looked closer and there is a BIG old picture of our cute little Lyndsey doing what she does best. We love you very much Lyndsey and we are so proud of you. We are very excited for this coming ball season to support Lyndsey and go to as many games as we can.

Holy Crap My Dad is 45

Yesterday was my dads 45th birthday. He is getting so old. Everyone else can see that but him. He still thinks he is a 25 year old, but we love him for that. We were all really hoping that Beckham would be born on his birthday because we are naming Beckham after him, well his middle name anyways. Obviously that didnt happen but I think he had a good day anyways.
For his birthday we didnt do to much. My mom made him dinner and we went up as well as my Grandma Louise, Grandpa Mark and Uncle Dell. It was a very pleasant dinner and it was very relaxing. I love my dad so very much. I do make fun of him a lot and give him a hard time, but if I didnt do that then we wouldnt have much to talk about and I was taught by him. He is an amazing man and I am so thankful that he is my dad. He is going to be a great grandpa to Beckham, even though he isnt do sure about the whole idea yet, but whether he is okay with it or not its going to be any day.

Patiently Waiting.

We are still patiently waiting for Beckham to get here. He is being very stubborn and will not come out. We went to the doctor yesterday and I am dilated to a 2 (the same as last week) and I'm 75% effaced (still). I asked about being induced because I dont know how much more of this I can take and the doctor shot that idea right down and told me that he cant until I am a week past my due date, and I have to be dilated and effaced more. I was completely discouraged. I'm trying to be patient and have a good attitude about it, but its very hard. Britt has been very good about trying to make things easy for me and to keep my mind off of Beckham not being here yet.
A couple of weeks ago we decided that we wanted to buy each other a gift before the baby got here, so we both got things that we have wanted. We got Britt a new TV to be in the family room so we could move the other one into our room. It is lovely. We both love the new TV. It has kept Britt busy hooking everything up and making sure we have the best picture possible.
Well for my pre-baby gift Britt bought me a cricut. I wasnt even sure what it was or what it did, but my friend Cass had one and she loves it so I wanted one too. Well it has been absolutely a blast to use for both Britt and I. He has been so sweet and got me everything I need. We finally used it for a project and cut some vinyl letters out and I havent stopped since. I've ran out of sayings I want around our apartment for now, but I'm sure I'll come up with some more here in a couple of days.
The longer it takes for Beckham to get here the more time I have to think about what I want to change in my apartment. I started with the bathroom and decided it I wanted it completely Tiffany & Co Themed. Britt has been so good about me changing things and wanting to redo things. He just goes right along with me.
I also have decided that I like to make decorations for my house. Right now I am loving all of the Valentines stuff. I look at all the different blogs to find new things to make. I have almost finished all of my projects I had today so I am looking for something new to start. Some of the things I have made this week are the Thank You cards for my baby shower, a Valentines wreath for our door, and some glittery hearts. I am out of ideas. I guess the next thing I could start is Beckham's birth announcements, but I think that will just jinx me and he will never come.
I hope that the next time I blog that it will be about having Beckham, but more than likely I'm not going to be that lucky.

Beckham's Room

We are finally done with the Beckham's room. I think its darling and I absolutely love it. I don't like little cute things or animals for babies. It drives me nuts so when we found out it was a boy I knew it had to be a baseball room, but I didnt want it cartoon looking so I want authentic baseball stuff and it took us a little searching but we found it.

My in-laws were so wonderful and made Beckham's dresser. It turned out absolutely awesome and I am 100% sure we couldnt have bought a nicer or better dresser for him. I appreciate them so much. They are absolutely amazing. It will definitely be a family keepsake. Thank you so much Wayne and Marsha for the dresser. I love it and I am so thankful for the 2 of you. Thank you again and we love you very much.

The only thing missing now is Beckham.

Christmas

Christmas this year was fabulous. We had some much fun with our families and we were hoping Beckham would have came early, but he didnt so I guess that will just have to wait. Christmas eve we had a little party at my gma's and our friend Kent came down and spent it with us. It was alot of fun and we really enjoyed. We played white elephant and for once we did "good" gifts, not stupid things you find around the house. Well Britt and I got some good gifts. I got a DVD player and Britt got a candle.

Christmas morning we spent it just the two of us at our house. We got up and opened our gifts. We didnt do a lot for each other this year because we have baby things to buy and neither of us really anything special. We spent the morning with Britt's family and they were very good to us. Then we went to both of my grandparents houses and seen them. That night we finally got to go to my parents and give them there gifts. All together Christmas was a lot of fun and we cant wait for next year when we will be able to share it will Beckham.
